MY PHYSICAL PROBLEMS
CRUCIFIED ALIVE
THE TRIPLE CROSS OF FUNKEY ST.JAMES
YOU CAN'T SEE MY PAIN
THESE ARE PICS OF THE PROBLEMS I HAVE WITH MY LEG. DON'T YA JUST HATE IT WHEN
MORONS DRIVE CARS RECKLESSLY AND DOCTORS DO SHODDY WORK BY USING CHEAP HARDWARE THAT BREAKS!!!
THIS IS HOW MY KNEE LOOKED AFTER SURGERY TO INSTALL THE ROD IN MY TIBIA.
Crucified alive, not really. More of an actual scarification. Please allow me to explain. First I was involved in a motorcycle accident in 1971. My femur was shattered. There were other injuries as well, in the lower back, hip, knee joint (broken ligaments, cartilage, and bone fragments in it), and my ankle. I will never forget the smell of burning bone as the doctors drilled holes through my knee in order to save my leg. The doctors cut a 14" scar on my left flank and used two 9" plates and 13 screws to reconstruct the bone and marrow in my shattered leg and save it from amputation. Although it has been a blessing to have a leg it has also been a curse upon me ever since due to the pain and incapacity it has caused. Next, in 1977, I was the victim of an assault by a tae kwon do expert. He hit me with a wheel kick that broke several of the screws holding the plates in my leg. There was a hematoma that measured approximately 4 x 7 inches and was of deep color and bulged out. An inch and a half. When I went to the doctor who had installed the plates he x-rayed my leg and determined that the plates and screws were broken and needed to be removed. I again underwent another major surgery ,14", down to and around the bone, in order to remove the hardware or at least most of it, they had to leave several of the broken screw tips in my bone because they had broken the drill bit they were using. Scared bone can be very hard like rock or glass. This 14" scar is on top of the first one and crosses it, making the first cross.
next, in 1980, my leg broke again while riding a bicycle. I don't know what happened. One minute I was on the way to get a loaf of bread at the bakery after work, the next I was laying in the street with a broken leg again. I might of cracked it at work earlier that day and it broke all the way when I rode the bike. Anyhow this time the doctors decided to repair the damage by using a 28 cm. Kutchner nail. But there was a problem. Because of the left over screw tips I would have to undergo another surgery and 14" scar down to the bone to remove em. This surgery left the muscle tissue circulation in very poor condition. If I am out in cold weather the muscle on top of the scar feels normal the muscle below fells cold, clammy and cramped. Hot weather makes it hurt too. This scar was also on top of the other two previous ones and also crossed them in the middle. This is the double cross. The removal of the left overs being done they then went on to the next major surgical procedure which was the installation of the kutchner nail. A kutchner nail is a hollow metal rod that 11 inches long. They route and scrape a hole through the bone and marrow from the top of the hip joint and then insert it to hold the two pieces of broken bone together like a wood worker uses dowels. After they get done pounding the rod in they repack your bone marrow. One might assume that this scar is the third cross, it's not. This time they cut me on the top of my hip leaving a six inch scar. These last two surgeries were back to back and ever since then I have suffered from circulatory problems, sleep problems, chronic pain, anemia and general poor health. As soon as I could walk in about 3 or 4 months they cut me off disability and I had to go back to work to survive but guess what just because you can walk doesn't mean your bones have knitted it just means you can walk with a broken leg and the nail worked it's way out up into the hip 1 1/12 inches.
after watching it for a several years in 1983 the doctors finally took it out. When they remove the kutchner nail they have to repack the bone marrow. I from this surgery now frequently have a very painful feeling deep in the piriformis, sub oblingoter gluteus muscle region of my hip, buttocks and lower back. It feels as if some one has driven an axe deep into my hip and it radiates down through my leg. This scar is 6 inches and overlaps the scar from the nail insertion by about 1 inch on the end. This is the third cross of the triple cross of funkey st. James.. This is not all that is wrong with me. I have other problems which are significant. I lost my right index finger in 1955 when I was 4 yrs.. Old. I mutilated my right thumb and broke my leg ago cart accident in 1959. In 1981 I was stabbed in the arm severing tendons and blood vessels in my right arm in an work accident. These injuries give me poor handwriting and slow typing speed. In an auto accident in 1975 I injured my back when I had a blow out and skidded into a ditch and the car flipped over.
then there are the injuries I received when Oliver Reid a drunken, pcp crazed freak from a neighborhood racist, drug gang attempted to murder me. They had been terrorizing my family because my wife and daughter were asian. The drunken Reid assaulted me the day after the gang leader was arrested for for the 4th time. He tried to crush my skull with a 6 inch diameter rock. Had he hit my nose like he was aiming for I would have probably drowned in my own blood. That is a basic lethal blow they teach all soldiers in combat training. This blow left me with a massive hematoma that covered my entire face and a fairly large disfiguring scar over my left eye, chronic headaches, a fairly acute sensitivity to high blood pressure, whiplash like neck damage, periodic spastic paralysis in my left hand, and I also seem to now be some what dyslexic.
that is more or less a summary of my physical injuries. The cumulative effect of all of them makes me a pretty messed up individual. The multiple exposures of the bone marrow is known as an autonomous bone marrow transplant. I have read an article, in lancet the medical journal, that said that 1 out of 6 people who have had this type of autonomous bone marrow transplant die within ten years due to systemic blood infections most commonly a type of strep unless they are followed up by continual observation and antibiotic therapy. Exposure of the bone marrow to the air introduces these bugs into the middle of the bodies blood factory. From there they usually congregate at the heart causing damage. I do seem to be battling some type of systemic blood infection. In the summertime lately my skin seems to break out like a teenager. I have had massive exposures of my bone marrow and I am currently not receiving any medical care at all. It should also probably be noted that because of the chronic pain I do take a lot of over the counter pain relievers as a sleep aide. As a result I also am constantly battling gastro intestinal problems. I am also adversely affected by conditions of stress and extremes of temperature either way. I am also suffering from severe depression and PTSD due to all of the physical and emotional trauma that have been inflicted on me. There has in fact been a lot of emotional trauma that people don't know about.
now fate has dealt me yet another blow. On Jan. 21 1997 I was hit by a car driven by a Mr. Henry Blount and my leg was broken in several places one of them being a compound fracture. The brake in my tibia was fixed by the insertion of a metal rod. The problems in my femur and fibula were left to fix themselves. Currently I am still in extreme pain when I use the leg. If I stay off it doesn't bother me as much. Unfortunately two screws supporting the rod have broken and it becomes very painful after minimal use. The break in the fibula has not healed. It isn't even close to mating being just slightly under a half inch apart. Every time I bump the calf or lay on my back during sleep it is like having a spear head stuck in my calf. The joints are not doing well either. The knee hurts severely, bearing weight on it makes feel like the front is going to blow off my knee. The ankle is still painful to the touch the front right area in particular. Bearing weight on it is also extremely painful. In both joints there seems to be extensive ligament and tendon damage. I am not at all certain that I will ever recover and am severely incapacitated in the area of mobility and walking.
Currently I can only be on my feet for a hour or so per day before several distinct types of severe pain set in. My sleep problems are severe. I rarely sleep more then 3-4 hrs, at a time. Typically I will not sleep at all one or two nights per week. The doctors at valley medical center have not helped at all. They refuse to treat the chronic severe pain merely saying it shouldn't hurt. It is absurd. What the hell are those who suffer from permanent chronic pain supposed to do?? Nothing I have tried works to totally kill the pain anyway. At best pills only damp it slightly for a short period of 3-4 hrs per dose. Currently I think about suicide a lot but have resisted the temptation.
